Fun Activities & Exciting Events for 2024

Do you have a family member or loved one living with an intellectual or developmental disability (I/DD)? RISE Services, Inc. Oregon hosts several events and celebrations, such as sports games, community events, and outdoor activities, throughout the year for individuals living with I/DD at our RISE Services, Inc. Oregon locations. Gathering as a community and participating in meaningful activities together can help individuals with I/DD learn social skills, build camaraderie, and meet new friends. Your loved one will enjoy spending time with others and having fun at each of the festivities listed below.

Fun & Safe Recreational Activities

Each RISE Services, Inc. Oregon team plans activities throughout the year that are adventurous, enlightening, and possibly new for our participants. We strategically schedule events with each participant in mind. The children and adults living with I/DD are a part of the RISE Services, Inc. Oregon community, and we do our due diligence to ensure their safety, medical requirements, and other special needs are appropriately provided for during our planned activities.

Our 2024 Events Calendar

• March 23 – Annual Easter Egg Hunt for staff, participants, families, and the entire community
• April 22 – Earth Day Community Activity for all participants to plant flowers, bushes, and trees at our residential homes and supported living locations
• May 17 – RISE Services, Inc. Oregon Member Appreciation Baseball Game 
• June 4 – Annual Awards Luncheon to show appreciation for our fantastic staff and celebrate their achievements over the past year
• July 10 – Enchanted Forest Trip for RISE Services, Inc. Oregon participants
• July 22 – 24 – RISE Camping Trip for participants to enjoy planned activities, including hiking, water activities, outdoor games, and s’mores
